Luca & RnO are authors and producers from Italy and Netherlands respectively. They begun their collaboration when Luca was frontman of Italian Band Zeropositivo and they recorded a remix of one of the band’s songs in 2004. An experience that under the hat of Warner Music for Luca and Zeropositivo culminated in the Summer of 2005 with the opening of REM’s concert at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. Four singles (including radio hit "Al Posto Tuo") and a duet with famous Italian Rock Star, Edoardo Bennato, gave Luca and the band plenty of satisfactions after years of Live Concerts all over Italy.

After departure from the band Luca met RnO again and gave birth to theFilmakers project. Between 2008 and 2010 the band recorded “Chemical Love Crush” at GravelandStudio near Amsterdam which was later released on iTunes and record stores in 36 countries. “Chemical Love Crush” was a collection of 12 songs with a rock soul ranging from classical pop-rock ballades to alternative electronic rock, born as soundtracks of non existing films. Inspired by the filmic approach, the band joined a team of film-makers across Europe from cities like Amsterdam, Milan, Vienna, Paris and London to produce short movies, music videos, original soundtracks and new songs.

This resulted in a number of concerts backed up by film installations, including support of Patty Smith’s anniversary concert in Milan, and a number of soundtrack compositions for festival award winning films and short films like “LA VIE NOUS APPARTIENT” (Invited by Max Ophuels Preis in Germany and distributed in South Korea in 2017) and “LITTLE WORLD” (Giffoni Film Festival). A number of music videos have been produced (including MyShoes and Taken by award winning directors Fabio Guaglione & Fabio Resinaro), airing on Rolling Stone Magazine, Italian Deejay TV and MTV New Generation between 2010 and 2012.

After some years of lethargy and creative hiatus, the digital revolution suggested new paths but didn’t tame the artistic soul of the duo. Inspired by the events of 2020 and the strong worldwide drive to get creative collaborations off the ground, RnO and Luca decided to get together again and gave birth to ONLAND. Their new album, ONE NORTHERN SKY, blends convincingly elements of electronic influence with the cinematic and onirical suggestions that have distinguished their songs for almost two decades.
