This recording was part of my thesis project for my Master's program in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games at Berklee Valencia (valencia.berklee.edu).

Unconstrained by the musical demands of an image to work to, I had this strong melody in my head for a while and decided to use this amazing opportunity to bring it to life the way it should be! It turned out having a wonderful Celtic flavor.

Tes étoiles remplissaient mes rêves, Kashmir !
Blotties dans l’antre de ma mémoire d’ivoire,
Je les fuyais inconsciemment, ces diamants ;
Des perles rares ou simulacres de nacre,
Placés entre deux accords de guitare, turquoise.
Une prose arabesque, couverte de jades vertes,
M’empêchait de vieillir, éternel saphir…
Toutes les notes serties dans ton collier d’argent,
Brillaient éperdument comme un rubis taillé.
Oui, je l'avais dégrafé ta robe d’agate bleue
Mais la lune pudique avait fermé les yeux.
