A delightful four artist EP ‘Summer Days & Twisted Nights’ is the latest installment to drop from Newcastle based label 22 Digit Records. Celebrating everything dark, deep, and twisted mixing tracks from established and under the radar producers. Plastiksound kicks things off with ‘The Dark Side’ setting the tone with looped up guitar riffs and tech percussion sure to be a firm favourite in Ibiza at sunset. ‘Manuel del Giudice’ flips thing around with a tripped out vocal track ‘Circus Master’ that fuses elements of techno and deep lush chords and pads. Mael provides a harder slab of deep/tech with a breakdown in ‘Deviation’ of epic proportions. Finally DEE.P round things of with ‘Thai Suzy’ in fine tech house style funky bass and skipping drums sure to be a guaranteed heat generator on dancefloors inside & out this summer.

B1 Trus'me - I want You (Alan Fitzpatrick Remix)

Danniel Selfmade returns to Deeperfect and starts things off with "Bylusions" where a crackling rhythm section provides the perfect backdrop for a psychotic melody to start taking control of the situation. The Metodi Hristov and Gallya remix is up next, where things get dubbed-out and rumbling bass goes along nicely with the percussion-heavy workout. "Space Collapsed" boasts a sticky bassline while short riffs and warped synths work together in synergy, and the closing "Tronicos" is a heads-down affair with more off-kilter effects and grinding hats.

Since Stefano Noferini's debut release on Monika Kruse's label Terminal M Records in the beginning of 2015 he released some more of his hi quality clubtunes on his own label Deeperfect, Toolroom Trax and Stereo Productions. For these three new tracks he teamed up with Metodi Hristov from Sofia, Bulgaria's capital who's releases and remixes on Rejected, Time Has Changed and Noir Music were always sure chart toppers. Making his second appearance on Clarisse, Italian upstart Simone Liberali brings a brand new three-tracker.

The all-action, funky house of ‘Speedy Voice’ is laced into by a searing ‘Strange World’-style breakdown. The immense synths will have big rooms rattled, giving new dimensions to a track moving under the sun thanks to its foamy percussion and bass. Marco could not be wrong when he dropped it as you can see the crazy atmosphere.

‘Don’t Look Back’ is good advice for those acting on when the beat drops and with nothing else on their mind. A Clarisse classic of kicking deep house, driven by another of Liberali’s bass pendulums, will spike your sweat levels, with a dark and sexy streak made for rump shakers dressed in black generating background backchat and synth builds.

With urgency continuing on an upward curve, no further encouragement is needed once the needle finds the groove of ‘Brusco’. On a tracky old skool house bassline hustle trying some mild acid squelching on for size, it’s heartily measured for a session of designer handbag house that’ll have winter wrapped up in understated glamour. Vocal snippets cheer on a sprinting Liberali into a calculated breakdown, giving you a bit of breathing space before the bouji boogying continues.
