"When I started to make this album I was unsure about getting anyone to care in this new world. I was preparing to head on Vans Warped Tour and saw that no one cared about anything if you were unknown, and became obsessed with the idea popularity and growing a dedicated fan base. I realize I had to care about everyone else and that takes time and showing lots of love to people whether they reciprocate it or not. once I stopped being so self-seeking, I ended up over $20,000 on Kickstarter with 297 pledges. It changed the tone of most of the music and helped me embrace myself.
