Solow is a rap artist based out of Houston, TX Born Oct.17th 1983 at St. Johns Hospital in Detroit Mi. Solow was relocated to Windsor as a young child. Raised up back and forth over the border by a single mother & his grandmother Solow quickly had to learn the ropes to survive on his own. Since his youth he was infatuated with hip hop music & culture but while growing up Solow struggled to find his place, resulting in multiple run ins with the law. After that, he decided that he needed to find an avenue that wouldn't cause more trouble for him then benifit and he decided to jump head first into hip hop. With a son on the way Solow had to make clean slate for himself and hip hop was the answer. 

In 2006, Solow opened an urban clothing store in East Windsor called Exclusive Clothing. He would eventually use this business as a home plate, and expand to cover all bases through it. His first appearance on record was a feature spot on the album 'Street Value' by Nekos & J Rize. One 16 bar verse gave Solow ( at the time known as C-Brix ) a spitters reputation within the local circle of emcees. After that, he took time out to build up the clothing store and would be absent from recording for several years. 

Solow jumped back into the mix after coming across local talent J Reno in early 2009. The success of partnering up with J to build up the clothing store inspired Solow at the same time to get his music back in effect with the store running smoothly. In 2010 Solow won a Windsor Hip Hop award for being featured on the best collaboration record of the year which was a mixtape remix of Put it in the Baggy with Liquid & the Kid.This was only his 2nd recorded verse in his career. He made his live debut at the Exclusive Clothing sponsored J Reno 'Lunatic' Party which was the first ever 100% local Windsor hip hop sell out event.This is where Solow began to develop an intensity and drive to him that has never been seen before within the city. Already jumping into the local lime light working with top artists like Jay Braaks, Academy, Lye & other. Solow is taking all of his life experiences, all of his misguided anger, and with a new confidence in himself he decided it was time to cement his name locally and begin his journey to the national level of hip hop.

Within the last year Solow has linked up with Shadow at the M.A.D. Studios and has been putting in work on his debut release which will be titled 'Out of this World'. A few of the tracks were released locally & online and have gotten great response. As one of the newest, and hardest working artist's in the scene Solow has alot to prove and no problems doing so in a very timely fashion. Keep your eye's on this rising hip hop star as he takes you all the way out of this world and back
