Deep underground, an enormous complex of tunnels and huge caverns. Mysterious machinery awaits, it's purpose unknown. Strange sounds echo through the tunnels, perhaps a door swinging in an invisible breeze in the darkness, maybe the dripping of water, or someone (something) else is also lurking far away in the subterranean chambers....

Made with Audacity and parts from elsewhere. The picture is mine; I made it in GIMP.  Created a large part of this in 2013 for a game mod, then modified it more recently (late 2014). Most of the machine hum was from a very distorted drum beat that I made on Hydrogen in 2013 that came out horrible while I was fooling with Audacity, but I kept playing around with it.

I used loads of reverb, echoes, reversal, slowed speed, and did it again, trying to give the illusion of vast space, great caverns, tunnels, possibly an underground city or huge vault complex. Some of the buggy bits became echoes as if other things were happening and came out better than I expected.

Inspired by an image of a dark-shadowed future city of towering buildings forming vast echoing concrete canyons for the streets far below. Strange machinery hums, air conditioning and life support systems, while winds make ominous sounds that could become comforting in the background for the residents who have been living there for awhile.

All the sounds were manipulated in Audacity. I attempted to create the illusion of vast echoing space between huge buildings. it's not entirely repetitive, the sounds vary a bit over time, and some parts only appear once. 

Created with Audacity with a few sound files found on Freesound (credits given in detail below).  The cover picture is mine; you can find the original in my deviantArt galleries.

The Ultra Fear

The main theme music I made for the Boo Cadman webseries to be produced by Tobu-Buta Studio in Japan. The webseries has a retro space-fantasy storyline and setting.

The track is 2 minutes and 48 seconds long.

I made this in Audacity and Hydrogen with my own stock of recorded sounds.

Hello out there.
I have written many stories under other names.
Sometimes as a guy.
Sometimes as a girl.
A few years ago, I started using the name 
Only The Ghosts 
for all of my art and writing.
I’ve started writing a web novel.
It’s called 
Glimmer in the Dark.
The story takes place in an alternate version of our world. 
The year is twenty twenty seven.
The world has gone through a period of social chaos and economic crisis. 
The story of Glimmer in the Dark is mostly about a teenage girl. 
Her name is.
Shine Akari Malloy.
Or simply.
Shine.
Shine is small for her age. 
She’s also very, very shy.
Shine has a destiny. She’s had strange dreams.
They are about her future and they scare her.
Shine also is fascinated by the paranormal and wants to know if maybe, just maybe, are there real superheroes?
Shine wants to find a real superhero. She wants to find wonders in the world. She wants to find that superheroes exist.
She’s forgotten that supervillains could exist too.
