One year ago I embarked on a journey, one that took me to 4 continents, 10 countries & 24 cities, 
but most importantly, 
it was one that took me to the heart,
a journey,

that reminded me to trust why I chose to turn down the path to the left instead of the path to the right,
that reminded me to listen, not only to my own inner voice, but also, to the voices of those around me,
that reminded me to look up and join the dance, 
that reminded me family isn’t just confined to your blood,
that reminded me being human can be lonely,
that reminded me each and every one of us has our own unique story, 
that reminded me one genuine smile can change the course of an entire day, a week, or even a lifetime, so can a vulnerable share or a silent response,
that reminded me there isn’t coincidence, only magic  
that reminded me you really can’t always get what you want and, you really do get what you need, 
that reminded me there really is a universal language of the world,
that reminded me of the wisdom of our elements, the power of our Mother and the mystery of our universe,
that reminded me how sacred community is,
that reminded me how precious time is,

a journey that reminded me,
the journey is the way; the journey is our lives;
the journey is right now; the journey IS home.

Hope was so alive in me during this set as I witnessed the magic in the landscape, in the connection, in the music, in the movement, in the smiles, in the energetics, in the light, in the dark. Forever humbled and forever in awe of this mystery.
