Discappointment has its week with 𝙜𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙞. Just under a week ago she performed at our last party and now she's brightening up our day with a fresh mix in the 𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 series. An outstanding, diverse mix. And when it comes to gummi, we can expect the most surprising musical connections. It's no different in this case. In this latest material, she smoothly transitions through varying tempos from 140 to 70 to 160, exploring different areas of experimental music. You'll find elements of jazz, dubstep, rap, and tasty bass references here. A well-curated selection and versatility of sounds is something that you can hear clearly in this piece. And we are truly impressed by that.

Hailing from the southern part of the Netherlands, this Den Bosch-based UK aficionado serves up a handful of quality DJ tools in the higher BPMs. The EP kicks off with "Nano," where distorted vocals intertwine seamlessly with a steady broken groove. "Enter The Blade" follows suit, where acid baselines elegantly interplay with pulsating rave stabs. „Floor Crawl“ is sure one to test every clubs subs with it’s deep bass sweeps, while Hyper Continuum weaves a tapestry of never-ending suspense, complemented by expansive synths and swooping sirens.
To cap it off, Siu Mata contributes a killer remix of the title track, transforming its original elements into a high-speed dembow trip.

Hailing from the UK, 23 year old False Persona is a producer, DJ and label owner based in the South Coast town of Bournemouth. Since bursting onto the flourishing electro & breakbeat scene in 2019, the producer has rapidly become a household name for fans of contemporary dance music, offering an experimental yet accessible approach to the sound.

Beginning his journey in production at just 14 and making music under a handful of genres and aliases, False Persona would go on to release a slew of hugely successful EPs, singles and remixes, both independently and on renowned labels like International Chrome, Brokntoys, Typeless and Tripalium’s Acid Avengers.

With the recent launch of his own label Etched Recordings, and forthcoming anticipated collaborations with heavyweights like Mall Grab and DJ ADHD, it’s safe to say that False Persona is on the rise, and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.
