TITO+, a member of the ONNO Collective, presents a new mix commemorating ONNO's three-year journey. 

The mix features deep cuts from the label's compilation discography, spanning from their inaugural various artists release, "rough cuts," in 2021, to their most recent compilation tape, ⟶ অন্য (ONNO), launched in 2024. 

Providing a comprehensive overview of the diverse sonic palette of artists showcased in ONNO's tape offerings, the mix aims to highlight outstanding left-field and experimental recordings from contributors within India's continually expanding experimental music scene.

Introducing 'Frequencies, India,' a new mix by TITO+, member of the ONNO Collective. In this mix, TITO+ intricately combines deep cuts from ONNO's recent compilation tape, ⟶ অন্য (ONNO), along with tracks by various Indian artists featured in compilations released during 2023-24. These selections include works from labels such as Safar Collective, Boxout.fm Recordings, Antariksh Records, and L_KW. 'Frequencies, India' serves as a celebration of the vibrant and unconventional electronic sonic creations by Indian musicians and producers.

TITO+ is an audiovisual artist + producer from Kolkata, India. His releases are often characterised by a kaleidoscopic mash of Field Recordings, Noise, Ambient, surreal Jazzy refrains and Electronics, offering an immersive snippet of space, time and experiences.

Frequencies, India w/ TITO+ (02.04.24)

Part of Mumbai's ONNO Collective, avant-garde musician and visual artist TITO+ brings some amazing experimental sounds. "The mix is a small fraction of the numerous tracks that have caught hold of me recently. Some new and some old, the oldest dating back to S.C. Sharma’s track from the 70's (though released quite recently for the first time) followed by D for Brother, an experimental project by cousins Amyt and Monojit Dutta from Kolkata in the 90’s and more. Also featuring a selection of ambient, experimental and electronic deep cuts from all across India. Over the years, as a listener, one of my favorite features for both Bandcamp and Soundcloud has been the ability to search using location tags. Like a digital nomad, I would shuffle through different cities across India, trying to find the music being made by artists there. Aside from some recently released highlights, a big chunk of this mix is a tribute to the various beautiful tracks I have had the pleasure of listening to over the years."

An introduction to a thriving, underexplored ecosystem of sound, 20g is shaped by artists working beyond genre and convention.
