It’s that time of the month again and the DEXT Sessions are back , and this months a special one with a full 2 hour Drum & Bass take over , as usual label boss Haze takes the rains for the first hour  playing some Deep rolling D&B , Jungle featuring Photek , Source Direct , Lemon D , Skanna & Jack Smooth to name a few.

For the second hour we have an extra special guest mix from one of the UK’s finest D&B selectors MANTRA , known for representing real drum and bass at its finest Mantra’s deep and emotive sound in the mix comes from an intense passion for the music. With a selection that’s both inspirational as well as educational, her sets bring the beats into balance and cross the spectrum of dark and uplifting styles.

Tonight’s show will be serious session paying homage to the roots of future thinking D&B music whilst still pushing the envelope of the cutting edge junglistic breakbeat sound that Mantra & Double – O’s iconic night Rupture has become renowned for …PREPARE TO GET EDUCATED!

Chapter II: Individual Flow
Each of these souls carried within them the individual flow of their experiences, like a river whose meanders danced to the rhythm of time. Their stories intertwined into a living tapestry, depicting the joys and sorrows, dreams and heartaches that had shaped their existences. In this communion of voices, they discovered the beauty of diversity and the profound unity of their aspirations.

Leurs récits se tissaient en une fresque vivante, dépeignant les joies et les peines, les rêves et les chagrins qui avaient façonné leurs existences. Individual Flow

Hailing from the Swiss rave scene, NVST is a producer and DJ unafraid to challenge the crowd’s comfort zone, defying preconceptions. Her style embraces a clash of genres and textures, creating a raw, acidic unity that ignites a frenetic dance ritual with battered breaks, sleazy acid, industrial vibes, techno grooves, and more. NVST’s DJing approach is far from conventional, steering clear of commercial norms.

Beyond her passion for DJing, NVST is an active militant for the development and preservation of electronic music in Switzerland. NVST is spinning multiple plates, as part of the Female:Pressure family, co-running the French label Big Science and holding residencies on Rinse FM

NVST's discography is also extensive. In addition to numerous remixes published here and there, she has released an EP and three albums under her own name, an album with the Drift Institute, and she just release  a new album on the Berlin-based label SSPB (a sub-label of Monkey Town ). In addi­tion to these accom­plish­ments, her recent fea­ture in a Tre­sor com­pi­la­tion solid­i­fies her posi­tion at the fore­front of cut­ting-edge under­ground elec­tron­ic music.

Without people like Cashu (@carol-schutzer), São Paulo’s queer community wouldn't be thriving in the way that it is. The Mamba Negra label collective, party and label co-founder has been working tirelessly to provide safe spaces, creative outlets and raise funds for the LGBTQIA+ community for many years. She closely intertwines politics and dancing at events that reclaim urban spaces and now enjoys an international DJ diary that sees her mixing up breaks, techno, dancehall and electro across Amsterdam, Berlin, and places like our own Dekmantel Selectors.

She takes us on a similarly whirlwind tour with this week's mix, including some unreleased gems. It's a full-throttle party selection that fires through several house, club and techno rhythms - some bounce on big bass, some are twisted with raw percussion and some get stripped back to loopy drums and trippy sound designs. These global beats from the likes of DJ Wawa, Nick León, and Lewis Lowe add up to a colourful carnival atmosphere that sounds even better when the sun is shining.
