First you'll hear a baby Blackbird's cry, recorded at 96kHz using DPA 4061s & a Sound Devices 702. Then the same cry, slowed down 500% and reverb added. The image is a spectrogram of the original sound. From tiny bird to wild beast in a few steps and why I record at high sample rates.
