”drops of moon” is another name for dew in Japanese. 
The piece envisions a delicate landscape: the moment drops of water trickle onto leaves in the middle of a quiet night; momentary shapes created by nature, and mysterious natural phenomenon. 
The sound of unique percussion instruments (such as the ‘suiron’, ’hamon’, ’to-no-otohako’, ‘kugi-naruko’, etc.) together with the koto scatter amongst the harmony of the sho and ryuteki, that seem to repress streams of light. The piece aims to paint a drifting landscape. 

「月の雫」は「露」の異称。静かな夜に、水の粒が葉っぱを伝って滴り煌めくようなささやかな様子など、ほんのひと時の自然のかたち、それから、よくわからない不思議なものたちをイメージしています。 
笙や龍笛の光のすじのような響きの中に、水留音・波紋音・陶の音箱・釘鳴子・・など個性的な打楽器や、和琴の音の粒が散りばめられています。漂う風景のような音楽を目指しました。

日本の“借景”からイマジネーションを得たインスタレーション作品のためのサウンドトラック。
龍笛、笙、楽琵琶、和琴といった伝統を受け継ぐ雅楽器、様々な種類の打楽器、電子音との多彩な音色が織りなす架空の風景。
まさに“静謐”という言葉がふさわしい、新しくも繊細な音風景が広がる。

Momentary Garden is an ambient instrumental music album composed for Gagaku (Japanese traditional court music) instruments, craft percussions, vocal, electric sounds and so on. The pieces portray momentary and imaginary landscapes like ‘shakkei’ (borrowed landscape) with refined Japanese sounds.

Formed in 2017, ON-ON is a creative group that consists of composers, Japanese traditional instrumental players, and a designer.They update the idea of the traditional music and culture by creating new style works, especially collaboration between music and visual arts like installation art and dance performance. Recently they are also focusing on live electronics and improvisation.

東京藝術大学在学・出身の作曲家、雅楽・邦楽演奏家によるグループ。2016年に行った演奏会『音音生による邦楽作品展』を前身に、2017年結成。多様な専門・バックグラウンドを持つメンバーのコラボレーションを通して、「日本文化」の既存のイメージにとらわれない新しい表現の可能性を模索している。最近はライブエレクトロニクスや即興演奏などパフォーマンスの幅を広げている。これまでに、CD『音音生による邦楽作品展』『ある一刻の庭』、ダンスパフォーマンス・インスタレーション『風景になる』を発表。各種イベントなどに出演。
