I originally produced an up-down-up note melody with the 808 cowbell and it was too repetitive on loop so I lowered every other repetition of the cowbell loop. It was too slow so I doubled it up. That’s when I realized it sounds like the Batman opening theme. This was an accident which turned into a sick drift beat.
Anyways, this is my first ever track produced in 6/8 time signature. The melody and bassline were easy-peasy. The drums were a NIGHTMARE because I’m so used to making drum patterns for 4/4.
