‘These days we just want to make weird stuff' - X&G

It’s a commendable ethos for a constantly evolving electronic music scene, to avoid any specific genre or trend & stand alone with a unique sound. The Salt Lake City pair do exactly this with the ‘4am’ EP, a 5 track collection that displays the versatile yet cohesive sound X&G have to offer. 

From the very first track, the EP feels like a lucid dream, influenced by a wild variety of sounds, maneuvering with ease from the eccentric ‘MAUB’ & ‘Mancha’ through to ‘Home’, a hypnotizing composition with vocals from the talented Kida. 
The full '4am' EP will be available 13th April via iTunes.

Kayloo & Silo - Cadillac

We have been waiting for this collaboration to happen. Thankfully, it did and the wait has been been worthwhile. Paris meets Leuven, where  Kayloo and Silo both compliment each other so well in 'Cadillac'. The title pretty much speaks for itself, as it is an ideal track for driving or jogging into the pink sunset. With Silo's signature chords floating over Kayloo's 808 basslines, the track builds itself into a smooth slo-mo house tempo, showcasing the duo's versatility.

Boyan - Tuesday 2AM 

Hailing from Bulgaria, 23 year old Boyan has been on our radars for a fair bit now. Having completed his degree on Sound Engineering, he has also been dabbling with piano keys since the age of 7, and picked up djing as he grew older. 2015 has been instrumental for him as an artist / composer and saw his debut Ep 'Atmosphere' on Future Beats Records in April, followed by a stream of quality releases on INFINIT and most recently, Amsterdam-based platform MOOVMNT.

'Tuesday 2AM' exemplifies his growing skills as an artist, but more importantly, his ability to capture a certain vibe in his music. Movement is fluid in this particular composition, enhanced by his smooth chords and lush textures - elements that are progressively shaping his language.
