This week, we have a magical, mystical journey to transport you to your favourite nature spot, from Artos Eleven, the alias of Arthur Bðhl.

Bðhl is the co-founder of Melifera Records (previously known as System11), a vj’ing and cinema entity which recently expanded to encompass a label and web magazine. He is also one of the organisers behind the enchanting La Vallée Électrique, a home-grown passion project in the form of a 2 night/3 day 500-capacity festival, running since 2017 in Southeastern France. 

Bohl has been composing for many years, a path which more recently took him into the wonders of the deep techno realm, where he has carved out his own personal style.

In his own words, this mix, recorded after the festival at his studio in Avignon, France  “… is an intimate story. I wanted to tell my experience of La Vallée Électrique 2020 in music… this particular edition took place in secret and in a small group by the riverside. It was beautiful and intense… It is a memory, the perspective of an inner dynamic. I used the river of the valley as a vision to create a red thread.”

And we can totally imagine the moment in all its glory - friends, and strangers, united by music in a perfect natural setting.

Arthur’s first EP will be out in less than a month, including remixes from Eyvind Blix and Forest on Stasys. We can’t wait!

They decided to recreate part of their set at 'Art Bei Ton meets IO' (11.09.21), selecting their favorite tracks from each of their selection. 
Between Deep, Hypnotic and Breaky Techno sounds, this musical journey offers us a great trip into an organic and ritualistic world.

Born in Germany, the young producer MTRL was influenced by the experimental, hypnotic and industrial sound of the german scene and it’s artists.
Many of them gave a valuable contribution to his deep and sometimes dark techno sound. Fascinated by the depths of space and inspired by the organic voices of nature, his sound reaches from atmospheric and experimental ambiences to deep and tribal grooves, influenced by the hypnotic vibes and frequencies of his environment. 
During his education in Munich, MTRL was influenced by the local scene and many of its artists gave him inspiration, contributing and developing his own style. During his experiments with noises, he gained an understanding of art in itself. Together with Dycide and Polygonia he is one of the minds behind the label IO. His various releases on labels like Lowless, Solid Shape and Agos  are played by some of the most established artists of the Hypnotic and Deep Techno scene.

Dycide is a producer / DJ, professional sound designer and visual artist from Munich / Germany. 

He is playing piano since he is 5 years old and started producing ambient music as a teenager. He established the Dycide pseudonym in 2014 to release mainly minimalistic deep drum and bass. 

Slowly he started changing more and more to techno oriented music. Meanwhile he and his close friends founded IO, an audiovisual label, focusing on experimental ambient and deep techno and visual arts. 
Besides these projects he is working as an interactive sound designer at Impulse Audio Lab, a sound design and software company based in Munich/Germany.

Imaginary Landscapes is Eduardo Vélez, a mexican dj and producer based in Lisbon, he performed a piece of experimental electronic music with Antonio Russek, a world wide known name in sound art, at Tallera Siqueiros in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Actually Imaginary Landscapes moves between Mexico City and Lisbon playing at different venues. Eduardo also has a duo project with Floating Machine called 'Teixo' releasing their first EP on Secuencias Temporales.

Very close to the experimental electronic music and sound art, Imaginary Landscapes combines different electronic soundscapes in his sets, always looking for the proper sample or loop, IL reaches and creates imaginary atmospheres: an instant into the inner side of music.

On one side, Ronny Pinazza brings raw material to our series. However he still manages to create a bubbly ride through the harshness of the synthetically textured aural environments. The pace of the mix is beautiful accented by the never ending percussive background and the listener brought into picturesque imagination of the Germany based artist.

Installment number 65 of our series comes from the city of Leipzig.
Here, Jonas started his Kontinum project in 2016. Focussing on atmospheric and dissociative techno. Over the years, his sound evolved and ranges from ambient, deep techno to contemporary club-oriented sets. Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound and has had the chance to release on labels such as The Gods Planet, Lowless and Oslated.

Last month he founded is own label, Mnestic Records. The goal is to release club-orientated but deep music. Perfectly in line with our series.

Our next artist is originally from Brazil, he begab his journey among the underground clubs and obscure after-parties –  eventually moved to London, building upon a relentless passion for vinyl and further taking a leap into the world of production. He has been featured on imprints such as @affin, @circularlimited and @kvlto-records and many others. His distinct sound has taken shape over the years, intoxicating listeners through hypnotizing rhythm and cerebral loops. We are honored to have @caueborba complete our roster this year.

Frequency Machine is an artist originally from Colombia, belonging to the new wave of DJs & Producers with a great vision in terms of electronic music; daily, he focuses a lot on the search and exploration of sounds with which he can identify himself; he likes that his mix is intelligent, but always intense and hypnotic, without letting go of all the ambient, tribal, experimental and minimalist landscapes.

He has always had an apparent perception of music; music must be seen as a purely artistic and expressive value to finally make his receivers and other attendees understand how profound sound art can be.

His project as a producer will begin to emerge in 2023; he has been working a lot on his sound in 2022, looking for his guidelines and his true expression; in itself, he is very focused on musical diversity, wanting to imply that his music wants to get out of the Today's standards, he wants to express himself freely in all the multiple genres he wishes to delve into, especially knowing how to give musical culture to his entire environment.

He is the founder of Space Wave Records.

Ntogn is a good and helpful friend from Sweden who has helped Monument booking artist for  podcasts and helped spreading the word of Techno!

Since the beginning we have always found his music style interesting, and trying to set a genre is not easy. Lately we have been hearing music ranging from deep and spiritual stuff, to magical space techno. And you all know that we love that shit!
