For us, Takaaki Itoh is a rare and beautiful gem! The Japan born artist’s DJ’ing skills, exhibited perfectly in this hour long podcast for On the 5th Day, demonstrate his incredible story telling ability – a journey woven together by an endless stream of unique and often unheard tracks, building anticipation in the most captivating way. Throughout his mixes Takaaki manages to tread a delicate line somewhere between restrain and propulsion, the overall result of which is pure, hypnotic magic - inducing a feeling not often found outside of a party. Productions wise, Takaaki owns it in equal measure, having delivered numerous highly functional, standout tracks on labels including Faut Section, Analog Section, Gynoid Audio, Att Series and Wols (for which he is the co-founder).
