"The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel..." Gibson's Neuromancer opens like that, and this mix made me think of it instantly.

When an autumn leaves, when there are no more leaves on the sacred trees, when the familiar landscapes return into their stasis state, a cloak of delicately arranged crystals touches the land.
Tremendous temperature falls create otherworldly soundscapes on a freezing lake. Cymbal like cracks and pops ripple far into the dark, passing by the waves, effortlessly suspended just above the lake. The soft radiance of a lambent light reaches no further than a meter wide. 
What never leaves is an ominous presence of a great depth where rookas and Undveld reign.

@rookas and @undveld are two Lithuanian DJs and producers, both knee-deep into drone and ambient soundscapes, although first and foremost, who are techno heads. From previously curating one of the key techno nights in Vilnius nightlife, to releasing music on @offworldcoloniesltd, @orderanddevotion, to name a few, or to managing and contributing to their label – @staticinmotion – both have a story to tell. And they did – the guys are the first returning names on our podcast series, be sure to check out Black Wave 009 and 010.

Hydrangea is a young French producer having begun the production at the beginning of 2014.
Before that, she built up to itself a wide musical culture, in particular in the universe of the Techno.
Strongly inspired by the nature and the tribal cultures, it's Italian artists like Voices From The Lake, Dino Sabatini, Luigi Tozzi and many others who influenced her a lot to take this direction in her musical universe.
She has already made releases on labels such as Two & Two, Hypnotic Landscapes, Annulled Music and recently Silent Season.
Of dreamy and shy nature, the musical production allows her to retranscribe her moods of the best manners by improving constantly in the course of its productions.

Lett Records Podcast #001 - Hydrangea

The Italian peninsula is known for its output of powerful, atmospheric and emotive techno, and Luigi Tozzi is just one supreme example of this type of sound. Hailing from Rome, Tozzi is a young producer and DJ who's Luigi-Tozziinfluenced by the deep and atmospheric sounds that are coming from the capital city and whose contributions to techno have piqued the interests of Edit Select, Claudio PRC and Deepbass; producers who Tozzi has featured with on the Outis Music imprint. Tozzi has also released on Dynamic Reflection and swedish label Hypnus Records.

We really enjoy the vibe of this mix, as it takes you on a deeply introspective journey of the mind while allowing yourself to feel like you're floating out in the cosmos.

The 6th episode is from THNTS & Jay Quentin. Both are skilled DJ´s living in Berlin and are very involved in techno music and club culture since years.
 THNTS is member of the project ESCH, which is a techno label and a event series established in 2016. 
Jay Quentin is part of the HEADROOM project. They do events and a series of dj mixes with a focus on various techno music.

Formed of two of the three minds behind London-based promoter, On the 5th Day, Abstract Man transfers its artistic intention and love for techno across to parties at the city's best underground music venue, Corsica Studios. Geek and creativity merged together to give birth to this new project. Italy based vinyl lovers/collectors and machines addicted they started their collaboration in the beginning of 2014 trying to create their own sound. 

They already played together alongside Markus Suckut, Regal, Kobosil, Boston 168, Wrong Assessment and many others. 
Following excellent releases for Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow and the legendary Dutch imprint Planet Rhythm gaining huge supports by the likes of ACR, Tommy Four Seven, Svreca, Amotik and many others, their latest releases are out on vinyl via Voight and Souther Lights. 

Forthcoming releases are due out on Planet Rhythm alongside Matrixxman & Echologist, Wrong Assessment and Yan Cook.
