We have another sonic delight for you (including track list), this time from Heliopora.

Heliopora is an artist whose name brings to mind sun, deep sea, and coral reefs, brings us an aquatic sound journey inspired by his diving experiences and long record of mixing out in nature. Co-Founder of Melifera Records, a French-based record label and events organiser, his music seeps a life lived between the blue coast and the foothills of the Alps.

Heavily influenced by dub techno, this ambient-esque set in particular evokes those moments when you enter into a new world filled with deep blue hues, the rays of light glistening through, shining onto the fish, algae and anemone surrounding you. It recreates those tangible moments as your head goes under water, the sound around you changes, and the salt prickles your skin.

Ten years of On Board Music—it speaks for itself. We’ve been collaborating with them almost since the beginning, watching them grow steadily while staying true to their values—thoughtful curation, long-term relationships, and a real commitment to the artists they work with. Reaching a decade in this industry without compromising is something worth celebrating.

For their anniversary compilation, they brought together a group of artists who reflect that spirit. Among them is Jin Synth, whose track Self Navigation adds a spacious, introspective layer to the release. We first met Jin at Mostra Festival a few years ago and have been following her work since—whether through her releases, her live performances, or the way she approaches sound as something deeply hands-on. She also contributed a guest mix to our series, offering another glimpse into her precise, layered style.

In this conversation with Theresa Bäumel, Jin shares more about her background in sound art, her process of building custom instruments, and how she stays grounded in a constantly shifting scene.

Berlin’s Refracted has been a name dear to us for some time, having contributed a remix to our inaugural label release nearly six years ago. The Paral·lel co-curator and resident has cultivated a devoted following over the years for his uncompromising vision developed through a remarkable catalog of releases for label such as Silent Season, Bitta, Sublunar and his own Mind Express. For our series Refracted contributes a mix true to his signature style, crystalline and patiently layered with unwavering intent, drawing across decades and genres to invite us into a divine state of mind. For me personally this one is about spiritual growth and transformation. Breaking negative cycles, releasing old emotional baggage and leading to greater awareness and freedom.

This track is again built in combination of acoustic recordings, electronic soundscapes, deep bass lines and dance beats. In a moderately fast tempo, 115 bpm.
