The mix is an extract from his set during 'Art Bei Ton meets The Gods Planet' event at Suicide Club (July 10th 2022).
This recording very well represents the ideal expressions of hypnotic techno, managing to express energy and peacefulness through its bright and atmospheric tones.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland. His passion for electronic music started from a young age where he would spend his weekends in record stores hunting for music, he discovered artists like Speedy J and Jeff Mills who really opened his eyes to the world of techno.

He started producing music in 2008 and from there his sound evolved, always minimalistic, elements of ambient, hypnotic rhythms and deep rolling bassline's.

In 2010 he launched his label Informa Records as a platform to express himself and to explore further into his brand of deep techno.

Technokunst - a Budapest-based collective of like-minded artists - is continuing its series of podcasts, showcasing some of the best talent of the multifaceted genre we call Techno.

We have arrived to the second podcast of 2022 in the form of a studio mix recorded by Whispering Signals label owner Daniel Danieli. Originally hailing from Belgium, the Aachen-based producer has been on our radar for a very long time. His releases have a peculiar haze, a rawness that seems to take notes from Rod Modell's bag of engineering tricks, while still maintaining a strong personal identity and of course - very high production quality. This studio mix is a perfect example of the vibe Dan is going for in his sets - deep, subtle, and whispering. @lopar_music began his career as a professional DJ in 2015 at Academia Decibel (Intelligent Division) in Medellin, Colombia. His sound ranges from the deepest to the most hypnotic and mental. Navigating different genres, Lopar always seeks to transport the listener to different moods and convey emotions through his music. His technique and selection have evolved over the years, leading to performances alongside renowned international artists such as @etappkyle, @anthonylinell, @polygonia, @paulakoski and more.

We first discovered Fernie (Intersum, Dosis Records, Space Textures, Eram-Records) when our friends over at Temple Recordings invited him to contribute to their podcast series, and what a happy discovery it was. For us, the Glaswegian born DJ and producer is keeping deep, atmospheric techno alive in the best possible way, honouring the heart of soul of what makes it so special, as illustrated through his creative endeavours as an artist, and through his Space Textures imprint. 

Deeper electronic music has always tugged on our heart strings - an emotional, energetic pull that points to nothing less than a deep soul connection that goes far beyond any words can attempt to express. But then again, who needs words when we have the music, and we only have to immerse ourselves in a Fernie mix to feel that familiar feeling stirred within, with atmospheric soundscapes, deep grooves and hypnotic percussions leading the way, woven together with infinite care and control. 

We are therefore super happy to bring you a 2.5 hour journey courtesy of the man himself - the perfect opportunity to surrender yourself to the deeper spheres of electronic music in all its warmth and beauty, for which Fernie is swiftly making a name for himself.

Ephemeral Distance was started in 2020 by Yorgos Kourtis as an alternative way of approaching others and understanding himself. For him, techno music is a means of communication, a way to travel into space-time, a starting point for an evolution process.

His style is atmospheric, deep and hypnotic techno with powerful dark soundscapes, constant rhythms, and overwhelming trancelike, groovy and darkwave intervals – characterized by exquisite musical taste and capable of arousing countless strong emotions.

This mix is part of his set for Selectors party at Macarena Club, Barcelona on 02/10/22.

Laima Adelaide is an electronic music composer and producer who has her own label, Predawn Records, which specializes on deep and ambient techno. 
She studied classical composition in Stuttgart, however she is inspired by avant-garde music as well.
She has released music on labels such as Oslated, Phonotropsimi, Annulled Music, and others.
Her music and live performances feature noisy textures, deep hypnotic grooves, and airy melody but are also deeply influenced by nature and its components, such as water and air.
