I've had the idea to record a mix with Detroit and hypnotic techno for many years because these two styles are very close to me. Detroit techno was love at first sight and marks my journey as a DJ. And to this day, I feel that this reflects my signature sound.  It's been a while since we released a podcast, so I wanted to bring life back to our musical platform and share this recording through our series.

The ‘Warehouse Sessions’ return to ELECTRONIC EXPLORATIONS once again this December after the monumental success of the first batch of 5 mixes in 2012. Truss, AnD, Stormfield & myself, Kangding Ray (EE mix of 2012) and DJ Skirt kicked off the series to mass appeal, so this will now be a once year event, running for 5 consecutive days. To kick us off – 006, EE welcomes an artist I’ve been a friend of for the entire time I’ve been doing EE, Sigha, an artist I’ve actually been trying to get on the show for just as long !

A live recording of his closing set at Gare Porto (Portugal) for the very first international Danza Nativa showcase, Octo Åeterna took dance floor dwellers on a dynamic 2-hour heady and intoxicating trip as the finale to the night after Forest on Stasys and Mind Archives. His 2022 debut EP ‘Evolutiva’ was released through the same platform, following a long career as a DJ and curator of the Noctambula” events in his hometown in South America.

SameSame is back with the second release of the Exclusive Series.
Two tracks that leave nothing to be desired.
In typical SameSame fashion, the A-side is a classic dancefloor track. Minimalist drums and a sophisticated bassline paired with pad-heavy synthesizer sounds create the vibe.
If you're into breakbeat, you can't ignore the B-side. The arrangement clearly invites you to dance. 909-heavy hi-hats and an energetic bass speak their own language.  

Premiere: SameSame - Future Visions [SMSM002]

I visited Pikes in Ibiza and played a set of the music that inspired my Bed Wetter album, as well as the sounds that are informing my ongoing work for Sage Gateshead as their artist in residence for 2020/2021.
I also performed live for the first time, playing some of the early sketches from the performance I'm writing which will debut next year.
