Detached Audio return with their latest project, this time locking in Tesseract Recordings head honcho D Flect, who injects some serene sunshine into the 174 sound on this stunning effort. 'Memory' sees the heavily-supported talent move deeper than the rest of the cuts on the 'Empty Places' EP, fusing ambient atmospherics with a juking, pulsating saxophone melody that's just to die for. This is undercut by well-worked, beautifully written chords, jutting, snappy percs, expertly-placed vocal tints and some fleeting, introductory breakbeats - all placed with maximum precision.
