The trailblazing Monk Audio squadron continue their solid rise into the Drum & Bass stratosphere with their latest drop, a stonking 3-track EP from exciting upcomer and Monk stalwart Erritate. The EP hones down on cascading, jungle-influenced breakbeat percs, with a heavy focus on those snarling, incandescent synths and reeses that are incredibly popular in the scene at present, although this has a unique Erritate-twist to it. The lead track, 'Mowgli', is the pick of the bunch, and it's got a distinctly old skool feel to it that sits so perfectly alongside the more modern elements encased in this groaning beast. That being said, 'Dunkirk' & 'Jungle Demon' are not tunes you want to pass up on. You can catch our full review out very soon.
