'Focusing on the darker, heavier and more experimental side of Drum & Bass', Bay 6 Recordings' high-flying, innovative sister label Calibrate Records return to the fold with a brand new, wholly expansive VA compilation - Alignment Vol. 1. As per with both Bay 6 and Calibrate, the artwork is on point and, music-wise, the compilation is spot on, featuring new and familiar faces alike. Returning to the label are favourites Madusea, Mindloader, K2T, Option, Rozfresh and excelling head-honcho Echo Motion, whilst Hazqa, D Flect, Naiive and Incus make cracking Calibrate debuts. We've had the pleasure of hosting Hazqa's 'Space Bandits', a startlingly heavy introduction to the Parisian producer's stacked sonic arsenal. This one's really making us miss the raves.
