Leading Spanish Drum & Bass imprint Parallel Depth welcome sub-low don Khramer back to the label with his latest project, the fantastic ‘Bodied’ EP. The exciting, up-and-coming Menorcan producer has been making some serious advancements through the scene with releases on the likes of Boey Audio and Delta 9, and each passing release has seen a progression, both in his sharp, ever-developing skillset and the technical prowess behind his tunes. ‘Bodied’ arguably represents his finest body of work yet, channelling a number of different tones throughout the EP’s 3 sublime cuts. We’ve premiered ‘You Can’t’ here for you at On The Wax, which is our pick of the bunch. You can really hear the influence of the likes of Skeptical here, especially in that mesmeric, filtered build just before the bassline; Khramer keeps things rolling throughout, maintaining that muddy grot we love about the minimal sound whilst always reminding us of his melodic intent.
