This is my take on the song 'Burning Desires' from Zenless Zone Zero, Burnice White's introduction song from October 2024. Despite its critical reception and meme status, I found myself kind of enjoying the original song for what it is. It's lighthearted and cheesy, much like Burnice's character. So, I decided to remix the song to make it faster-paced and hyper.

This is more out of love for Zenless Zone Zero as a game, as I have found a new passion for it. I've sunk tens of hours into it since late July, and I enjoy everything, ranging from the aesthetics, the characters and especially the music. I own most merch for my room, too.

I hope that, even if you may dislike the original song, you all would appreciate the remix and even get some enjoyment out of it. Of course, I tried making it as faithful to the original as possible by using the original stems, and piecing this altogether had a lot of passion put into it. Enjoy :D

Much-loved Irish partystarters Boey Audio present their highly anticipated new release from newcomer Flawoh, a fresh, new-gen talent with an abundance of quality and potential. Highlighted in all its glory here, Flawoh's strong knack and penchant for creating subliminally brilliant, woven buildups and breakdowns that are verging on tapestry-like in nature, coupled with some of the hardest-hitting basslines we've heard this side of 2020, brings to light a butchering EP that hits all the right notes, whilst simultaneously ticking some new boxes and breaking new ground as well. For us, the pick of the bunch is 'At Night', although all the tracks on this endearing project are properly sick; this propane-fueled lick teases with its soul-searching intro before loading up both barrels and firing out a big ol' howitzer on the drop. This is a pure bassbin batterer if we've ever heard one.

Self-proclaimed 174-year-old Mark Dinimal rounds off 2020 on one of our favourite labels: Swiss-based imprint Drum Army. Described by RAM Records as 'one of the most exciting acts to break ranks from the wave of new producers which has hit contemporary drum & bass', Dinimal has proved time and time again that he's an incredibly talented, technically-gifted producer who particularly likes sitting pretty in that deep, minimal bracket on releases for ProgRAM, Vandal, Hyperactivity, SINE and more. Aside from that sound, he's also shown a wilfully experimental edge, evidenced in full on this latest EP. Perhaps the most out-there of the lot is 'The Only Techno I Ever Made', a sumptuous 145bpm cut that sees him drift outside of his comfort zone and summon a contemporary breakbeat number of the highest calibre, packed full of that aggressive Dinimal punch and thwack we've come to expect from the much in-demand Fabriclive resident. A very merry Christmas indeed.
