Based out of Chelmsford, Essex, in-demand jungle and drum & bass beatsmith Skuff is hot property at the moment, releasing on the likes of Serotone Recordings, Venomous Musik, Ten Tons Deeper and Rebel Music thus far, picking up heavy support on the latter from the likes of LTJ Bukem, Dillinja and Rene La Vice (BBC Radio 1) along the way, as well as releasing on his own stellar imprint - Save Our Souls Records. His most recent drop on Save Our Souls - a luxurious, floating 2-tracker entitled ‘Each Day / For Real’ - is well, well worth picking up from their Bandcamp.

For his latest release, we’re really excited to see him pop up on man-of-the-moment Conrad Subs’ high-flying Deep Pan platform, serving up 2 slices of diverse, exploratory jungle for us all to savour and enjoy. Our premiere, ‘Following Visions’ is a fantastic, ethereal piece of breakbeat magica, incorporating a bountiful, flowing combo of precise vox and gleaming pads, all connected in its entirety by sharp, crisp percussion and instrumentation - it’s a beautiful journey this one. ‘Go Back’ is more of the wonderous same, with more beautifully-crafted pads and background atmospherics on show, with both tracks taking their place as real standouts in terms of what we’ve heard recently, living long in the memory.
