Off the back of releases on Korsakov and ByTheProducer's excellent 'COLLECTED:1' VA compilation, fast-rising Bristol star Tacktile supplies the latest release on Redacted Bristol's newly formed eponymous imprint. The exceedingly promising beatsmith nails that journey-like feel of explorative drum & bass here, taking his captivated audience on a storied marathon of flourishing depth, crisp, snappy percussion, and fluttering, meandering synthetics. It's comparable to floating around a lazy river on a lilo; relaxing, sundazed and effortlessly picturesque, this one's a real beaut.

Live and direct from Brighton, mysterious producer Moose debuts on exciting Cardiff-based drum & bass imprint Breakbeats & Basslines, who've experienced a real surge of popularity as of late. Originally from Jersey, Moose has crafted a signature, gritty rave-etched effort that really excels and thrives in its deep, quaking low end; a defining quality that hops and skips from track to track on this stellar EP, inverting each individual sonic outlet in its own unique way. From what we've heard, sadly this EP marks the end of the journey for the 'Moose' alias, but the rumour is that this is far from the last thing we've heard from this special corner of the spectrum, with some very special news lined up soon music-wise. Whatever it is, and whatever sound is expressed, we can't wait to hear more!
