Coming from prior releases on Sol Eterno (Braunbeck) and Empore (Avidus), Paul is resident at the renown club ‚Die Rakete‘ in Nuremberg, Bavaria, for more than ten years.
Besides that he is part of the ‚Hertz & Seele‘ crew who throw parties in various german cities, including Munich and Berlin.

His EP is eclectic and visits different strands of Indie Dance, while the broken beat and melodic themes carry themselves throughout the three tracks.

The A side, Dead Heat, has it’s highlight in the long and energetic breakdown and has the potential to be a peak time banger.
Luminescence is a groovy piece that gets the crowd going with it’s smooth melodies and melancholic choir.
Last but not least, The EP ends with Sanguine – a collaboration with his buddies Sanio & Zarth, who live in Nuremberg as well, are also part of the 'Hertz & Seele‘ crew and are well known to us for their releases on Plano B Records.

Let's welcome Frankfurt-raised and Berlin-based DJ, producer, label owner, ace drummer, and piano player Johannes Klingebiel. We at LIVE AT ROBERT JOHNSON are very proud to release his 4-track EP entitled »For Everything«.

And let's just get to the point: »For Everything« is a tune for every situation and for everyone - why? Because it has all the typical Klingebiel elements: A play- and joyful dreamy sound with a fat boom-bap beat. What else do you need?! And yes: You CAN fade to grey with it … yes, it has got this vibe.

»Torso«'s torso is built on the same ingredients as the title track: Take a thumping bass drum, add some dreamy harmonies and you get a fresh and wistful track for the early club hours. 

Up next is »Not Today« where Johannes reduces the speed to achieve a trance-like effect with this deep, deep web of sound. Again he convinces you with beautiful harmonies that suck you deep into the groove - maybe »Not Today« but definitely tomorrow.

»In The End It Did Not Matter« - the last tune on this EP - of course DOES matter. Mr. Klingebiel speeds up again and adds a layer of synth sounds keeping the overall dreamful atmosphere alive and vibrant for you to take full advantage on your favorite dancefloor - be it as a listener or dancer or as the shaman of the night, the DJ:

Within the last years, the two gentlemen behind Avidus, Marc Wolf and Fritz Wagner, have been able to build a reputation within the international music industry out of their hometown Kiel. With releases on Tale of Us’ Afterlife Recordings, Monkey Safari’s Hommage, Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels and their own label Empore Music, their works have found support by many of the dance music industry’s renowned artists. Major influences for their music emerge from their duality:
While both unite as instrumentalists, their approaches to search and experiment in jams differ significantly: Marc, being the designated and longstanding DJ, not only draws inspiration from playing and digging for music but also from his self-taught experiences as a drummer and guitarist; Fritz as an autodidact of piano is always interested in improving his skills, spending nights reading about music theory and composing to use later on. In the studio, they combine both worlds, eagerly working on new Avidus material whenever they can. Within their growing Empore label family, Fritz and Marc try to keep doing what they do and not to loose the high standards they’ve had since day one. With the next releases lined up and the plan for a brand new live act, there is a lot to look forward to...
