"Acacia,” my latest piece, is now available everywhere. Its inspiration comes from a tree partially visible from my studio’s garden. Each time I step outside for fresh air, my eyes are drawn to it. Watching it change through the seasons—its branches turning lush and green, blooming with delicate white acacias, shedding leaves, embracing winter’s snow, and blossoming again—reflects the cycles of life for me. It reminds me that some of life’s deepest truths are often right before us, if we only take the time to see them. This piece was born from those quiet reflections. The cover photo captures one of the tree’s most beautiful moments.

Onur Tarçın is a cross-genre composer and producer based in Paris. Here, a quieter conversation unfolds, one that's echoed through the keys of a piano that has a unique voice of its own, surrounded by whispers of cassette tapes, the hum of minimal electronics, and the echoes of the cinematic scores from his past, bringing familiar melodies to life.

Delving deeper, his journey began in the heart of Anatolia. Tarçın was immersed in a family steeped in cinematic tradition and raised on the captivating rhythms of Turkish traditional music. This rich heritage has greatly influenced his genre-defying style. His work, acclaimed at international film festivals, spans from composing scores for films, TV, and trailers. His unique soundscapes, blending neoclassical motifs with ambient and electronic elements, have resonated with audiences on global platforms such as KEXP, BBC, and Soho Radio, showcasing his versatility and reach.

Looking ahead to 2024, Tarçın is set to unveil his debut solo album, a raw, minimalist sound reflecting his honest musical dialogues. His new single, 'Tomorrow, I'll be fine' offers a glimpse into this journey, resonating like the sea itself.
