Black and minority owned media is disappearing. 900AM-WURD is the only African-American owned and operated talk radio station in Pennsylvania, and one of just a few remaining in the country. This shifting landscape in media ownership is a direct result of nearly two decades of media consolidation, which is not slowing down in light of Comcast Corporation's plans to merge with Time Warner Cable. 

Freedom and diversity of expression on the radio, TV, and internet for all communities is at stake. To find out what you can do about it, listen to this radio interview with Bryan Mercer, Co-Executive Director of MMP, and Jeff Rousset, Organizer with MMP, on The Nick Taliaferro Show. I decided on the Gubernatorial elections and the elusiveness of Gubernatorial information. I found that some the people who are looking for this info find it, but those with little time do not.
