The first release of 2021 from Goma Rec. presents "Adrenaline Junkie", debut EP by the duo Whiplash, composed by Baitz and João Boaventura. With an acid narrative, the EP stimulates the release of energy; a mix between the fiction of a revolution of sidereal machines, with the adrenaline of extreme sports and the routine of the city. The elements and timbres of Korg Electribe ESX are explored in the duo's creations, with fast and well-marked percussions, which talk to genres such as Breakbeat, Electro, Jungle, Juke and Super-House. With futuristic, apocalyptic and urban characteristics, the cover art brings the collaboration between BRF and Gabriel Scorza, visual artist of Coletivo Plano.

 Whiplash is formed by the duo of DJs and producers, Baitz and João Boaventura, co-creators of the collective NINHO fom São Paulo. They started venturing into productions and mixes in 2014 and are currently exploring different aspects of the breakbeat style, bringing from euphoric melodies to more accelerated grooves.

Selwa Abd is a multi-disciplinary artist, curator and musician born in Morocco and, currently based in NY. She performs under the alias Bergsonist and curates the independent music platform bizaarbazaar. She co-runs the online resource Pick Up The Flow with Stephen Decker, and the project 3afak with Sanna Almajedi. She also hosts a monthly show on NTS radio and is represented by Discwoman. She self-released over 21+ EPs on her band camp (go support!), with her last full body of work "Middle Ouest" released via Optimo Music.
