Growing up in SoCal, ØNYXUS fell in love with Heavy Metal and learned to play guitar. He’s inspired by deep hypnotic elements that take listeners for a ride. Inspired by bands like TOOL, Gojira, The Ocean Collective, he gravitated towards psychedelic and powerful music in the electronic realm.

His love for Techno and Psy-Trance led him on a journey to find music that blended these two elements in a darkly entrancing mood to enchant his listeners.

Absorbing knowledge and getting inspired by Triforce, Schysto, Tilda, Illume, Keith Carnal, and Fabio Leal, ØNYXUS mixes Psychedelic Techno with Zenonesque elements, in the Dark and Forest Prog world. Now a resident DJ for the LA psychedelic underground powerhouse, Subterranean Dwellers, his goal is to deliver a captivating performance with music that he loves, share it with dancers from all over, and even introduce newcomers to a new reality in the psychedelic musical genre!
