Undeniably one of my biggest inspirations, the ever-talented @kondukukonduku presents a mix in his signature style, a unique soundscape of charming rhythms and melodies.

I've been a big fan of the Konduku ever since his debut album, Kiran, on @nousklaeraudio in 2018. Since then, Ruben has released an impressive and diverse catalogue on labels such as Spazio Disposable, Delsin & Idle Hands, often drawing on his Turkish heritage.

Beyond his incredible productions, Konduku is known for long, mind melting and crafty DJ sets & mixes. His closing set at De School for ADE in 2019 was one of my favourite DJ sets to date!

Berlin’s Refracted has been a name dear to us for some time, having contributed a remix to our inaugural label release nearly six years ago. The Paral·lel co-curator and resident has cultivated a devoted following over the years for his uncompromising vision developed through a remarkable catalog of releases for label such as Silent Season, Bitta, Sublunar and his own Mind Express. For our series Refracted contributes a mix true to his signature style, crystalline and patiently layered with unwavering intent, drawing across decades and genres to invite us into a divine state of mind. Sure Thing Mix 140: Refracted

There’s a rhythm to how the festival unfolds. Thursday opens slowly, almost like a breath in. By Friday night, the pulse is stronger, but not too heavy. Monument festival had settled into its rhythm, and Kia and Polygonia stepped into the wooden dj-booth together.

The forest floor was vibrating, the crowd fully present. Their set matched the moment—playful, warm, and alive. It felt like Friday was always meant to sound like this. Varden became their playground.

This was more than a strong back-to-back. Two years earlier, they met here, both playing solo, both part of the Monument line-up for the first time. This night marked an anniversary of their friendship. From solo artists to close friends, now creating something special together.

For this month's Unrush mix, we're excited to feature Eric Cloutier - a true digger with a deep history in the scene and an ear for detail. His 90-minute guest mix flows through warm, textured ambient with darker, rhythmic turns: subtle, patient, and always engaging.

Cloutier’s path has taken him from Detroit to New York, where his years as a regular at The Bunker New York helped shape his distinct style: deep, body-oriented music with a strong sense of narrative. Now based in Berlin and a resident at Tresor, he continues to bring that same focus and depth to clubs and listeners around the world.

With a straightforward, no-nonsense approach, he has spent years honing his craft. His label Palinoia - named after the act of repeating something until it’s mastered - reflects that mindset: a home for stripped-back, dubby techno and lesser-known talent that fits seamlessly into his sets.

A true digger with an ear for detail — this mix is one to sit with...

Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass. An intense, inward-folding moment graciously shared. Thanks Timnah!

Next up on our mix series is London-based sound artist, DJ, live performer, and event curator @Avsluta. She is the founder of Introspective Electronics, an ambient and downtempo platform that hosts regular radio shows, guest podcast series, and intimate listening events.

As a DJ and producer, her work navigates both listening and dance realms, fluidly moving in between chill-out rooms, clubs and festival dancefloors. Tuning into the energy of the people and spaces, the performances are fuelled by dialog, intuition and improvisation.

As we keep navigating the musical constellation of The Continuum, we finally get to explore the sounds of an artist that we love and respect. Whether through co-founding Delayed or his “Sundays are for…” series… you should already know who we are talking about. We welcome Hue to our channel! 

Zach is a fellow music lover or maybe should I say obsessed. One of those that would and does cross the ocean to join events and discover new sounds. We met at Parallel last year, and I finally got to see him play (twice) last month. “Sundays are for…” is a true classic when it comes to ambient and soothing sounds, and many of you might have thought that this is what Hue is about… but let me tell you something, Fridays are for Hue too! 

The magic happened during the HOC x Delayed event at Laut last month. Hue on the closing slot, and the rest is history. We couldn’t be happier to host this recording, a masterclass from Hue on high energy selection, with an eclectic and diverse set. Walking the line between brainy and cheeky fun. One that left us with a smile in our face (and wishing the event went on for a couple hours more). 

Tune in for a slice of what the Delayed crew brought to Barcelona on that night, with Hue in complete control!

The Continuum: Hue

Madrid's F-on is a much beloved figure within the Spanish scene, known for his elegant all-vinyl sets and curation behind the brilliant Alpenglühen label among so much more. We stayed in touch after his particularly beautiful set at 2017’s Paral·lel Festival, and I've been looking forward to one day sharing this episode of the series since. Alfonso’s mix is uncanny in its precision and demonstrates a prowess behind the decks that few can match, a soft palette built through veteran and timeless selection. Two hours in and out of focus like rippling dust through which the flow of time slows, a stasis in the stream. Thanks Alfonso!

Sure Thing Mix 145: F-on

Cio D’Or hardly requires an introduction, having long stood as both a pillar of our scene and a source of inspiration for so many. Over the course of her singular and decades-spanning career, the Cologne-based artist has cultivated a universe of sound entirely her own, immediately recognizable yet endlessly evolving much like the work of her contemporaries and collaborators Mike Parker and Donato Dozzy. To experience Cio’s music is to follow a throughline that traces the complex history of contemporary techno in a single gesture, compelled by the vast unknown and the primordial familiar in equal measure. Recalling the blurred realism of Richter’s photo-paintings or the timeless intricacy of Bach’s fugues, Cio’s self-contained sonic world delicately reframes our own precious lifecycle, a reflection revealed through its elegant and subtractive minimalism.

In collaboration with our friends at Mostra, I’m honored to share a selection from Cio D’Or’s set performed at this year’s edition of the Barcelona-based festival, a sublime triumph from a scholar of sound.
