I am a violinist, arranger and composer. A member of the Irish chamber orchestra for over 20 years I also play with the WhistleBlast quartet, which is involved in education and composition projects with mainstream and special needs schools. 
I run a youth orchestra based in Limerick called Ceol na Mara (music of the sea) which comes from the name of my summer school that has taken place in the West of Ireland since 2008. 
I have composed and arranged many pieces for the orchestra as well as pieces of music for the violin & piano duo I play in with my colleague Conor Linehan and was commissioned in 2021 by the Irish Chamber Orchestra to write the music to go with a story called ‘The Race’ with animation as part of their I Create Online projects.
