Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well! I am very excited about my upcoming release, my first EP "Closer Minds." This project has been a great adventure, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to share it with all of you.
In this EP, I have explored a wide range of musical influences, from Downtempo with touches of Afro-Latin rhythms, to Techno and Trance. My goal has been to create a sound that is dynamic, exciting, and full of energy. Each of the three songs in this EP represents a different facet of my musical style, and I am excited to share that with all of you.
The first song, "Closer Minds," is an organic slow Techno track that describes how billions of neurons in our brain work together to generate a conscious experience.
The second song, "Artificial Dreams," is an organic slow Trance track with influences of psychedelic rock that talks about how our dreams have a hidden meaning that can serve us in the process of self-knowledge.
The third song, "Selfishness," is inspired by a speech by Alan Watts and talks about the importance of knowing oneself and contemplating death for a more creative and fulfilling life.
In summary, Closer Minds is an EP that represents my love for electronic music and my desire to create music that makes people feel excited and alive. I hope you enjoy listening to it.

Each work offers a certain impression of the new electronic art, either travelling through already consecrated aesthetics or pursuing new possible paths. 

The meeting point is the conquer of a new space where rhythms and cultural expressions go further beyond the regional sphere. 

Our common region is the music of the nature, the hidden chants of the Earth and the sound that echoes with the silence.

Oondza is the electronic music duo of Kyle Morin and Nicolas Poirier. The project began as a jam session between two friends in the countryside north of Montreal. Starting with an open mind, they blended their influences from techno to jazz, reggae and Psy-trance. Oondza's sound developed naturally from a shared love for heavy basslines and hypnotic rhythms. Their goal is to blur the line between chillout stages and techno. Downtempo pirates, all aboard!!!
