Once Devin got over a couple panic attacks about trying to sing like Sam Smith, this cover came together much more naturally for us than any we had tried out before. The beautiful simplicity of the original track really opened the door for us to make something totally different out of an already inspired tune that's pretty far from our own musical wheelhouse. Sam Smith for sure struck a chord with his message in this one - about all the crazy relationships we build in the no mans land between sex and love, in a search for meaning, or just some companionship along the way - and we're super excited about the way it turned out. - LW (Aaron + Devin)
