Lyrics are superb, but the melody makes the song.  A creative melody lifts a song to the next level, IMO.

This is a song I wrote while being inspired by working with Janine https://soundcloud.com/janinelevinson . I was trying to write songs with her vocals in mind, but she always created such nuanced harmonies that often went well beyond my expectations. This is a song I wrote about being stuck at home, and that I shouldn't forget or take for granted its meaning and value. I love writing songs about defining "home", because the perception of it seems to always be in flux. My perception of home was quite different growing up than it is now. Lastly, a home is place everyone deserves. If you have the inclination, I would love to hear what are some of your favorite songs about the meaning of home if you comment of this song. Again, please admire Janine's fine work on this tune.
