ooTi Skulf is the beautiful and idiosyncratic project of ooTi and John Trap. This husband and wife duo create a music that is truly their own. Melodically delightful and uplifting, but shot through with a smouldering threat and danger, their music is constructed around the breathtaking vocal talents of ooTi. ooTi's voice, at one moment full of childlike vulnerability, the next brooding and riven with menace, acts as a foil to skillfully crafted music that envelopes the listener. She could be a character of a Tim Burton or a David Lynch movie. ooTi Skulf is indeed real! Accompanied by the mysterious John Trap, her assigned musician and handyman, she amazes and surprises as she seduces. 
Born of a desire to experiment with a new sound following the birth of their first child, ooTi Skulf’s music is intimate and enchanting; a story book of surprising, universal tales.
