German melodic techno producer Oovation aka Peter Bonaventura has had a brilliant year. Techno legend Tesla's remix of his collaboration with Hakan Ludvigson
on the iconic Baptism label hit the charts hard last spring, and since then Peter has had great success with releases on Clubstream, Univak, Inlab Recordings, supported by top techno names worldwide.
With this new EP, Oovation has teamed up with brilliant German vocalist Coni Soddemann for an eclectic, deep and melodic techno number. L.I.C. also comes with an innovative melodic remix from Hakan Ludvigson, whose creative vocal editing has created a different melody and
a new story for the lyrics.
On the other side of the record, we find the heavier and equally brilliant, driving techno number Pandora, which
offers a melodic techno experience on the darker side. Techno stars Balthazar & JackRock, famous from labels like 1605, IAMT and Renesanz, adds a huge, massive techno remix of Pandora, for those late, heavy techno sets.
The EP is also the first Vinyl release from Clubstream Green; the division of the Swedish Clubstream label group, specializes in underground techno, tech-house, deep house and minimal and has put out 129 releases since the start in 2007.

Ziger returns to ICONYC with a brand-new single titled 'Bring Back the Rave'. The Greek producer continues to be one of the top tier progressive house artists with continued support from the who is who in the progressive underground, along with releases on Eleatics, Beatfreak, Sudbeat and his own Eat My Hat imprint. 

'Bring Back the Rave' finds Ziger at his creative best with a driving, hypnotic production that's nicely dialed in or the dance floor. Punchy beats and a full, driving groove anchor the piece, as vibrant tones and spacey effects adorn the framework. The main break hits suddenly and its astral charm quickly saturates your pleasure centers, before melting down to a cavernous reservoir as the beats drop for a storming finale. 

The first remix of 'Bring Back the Rave' comes courtesy of German producer Oovation who marks his debut on the label in style, with a driving melodic infused remix here. Oovation who carved out a name for himself with high quality releases, reshapes the original elements into something more main room melodic sounding. The wonk factor on the low end is quite high and monumentally groovy as well, nicely playing off the rolling rhythmic qualities as dulcet hooks and gentle harmonics drift in and out of the framework. The main break shifts the narrative into more energetic territory but the dance floor sensibility remains, with muted beats and percussive clusters building towards a tasteful drop. Superb rework from Oovation. 

The third and final interpretation comes from label debutants Two Are. The Ukrainian duo follow excellent releases on Siona, Armada and Lost in You with a brilliant interpretation here. Powerful, compelling and acutely mysterious, it's driving melodic qualities and richly textured groove make for an intense first act. As atmospheres evolve, distinctive stabs and vocal edits steal the air, before a one-minute break takes you further into a haze of thumping audio, perfectly setting up a grand finale. A brilliant remix from Two Are that's likely destined for the sets of the big boy brigade. Highly recommended.

With 'Bring Back the Rave' Ziger really shows that there're no boundaries, as this striking melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smiles induced moments and instantly lift your mood. On remix duty we welcome Canadian Jares for his debut on the label. A bevy of new releases flying from digital shelves, FutureForm now steps forward once more under the tutelage of Kieran Krohn. His impressive label management to the fore, a trio of new tracks from Spaniard, Integral Bread, now create a textured "Moonscape". 

Nacho Vargas has almost 20 years of experience in electronic music production. From early experimentations in the mid 90s to a collaborative outfit named "Bread and Butter" in 2000, Nacho's knowledge and know-how has afforded him considerable success amongst the Spanish live scene. Attendances at such events as "Klubbers Day", "Summer Festival" and "Live Dance Festival", saw the pair play to audiences of thousands picking up a best act award, playing alongside the galactic Orbital as well as Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola and Guy Gerber. Deciding to develop a solo career, Nacho's Integral Bread moniker has built its own success story. Taking a range of sounds and influences, "from techno, to trance and progressive" but with an "electronica spine", Integral Bread has developed a formula for production and live work that has garnered invitations to appear on Spanish National Radio 3 and a live personal appearance on "Fluido Rosa". 

Captivating an expectant 20,000 strong stadium audience at "Klubbers Madrid" marked an epiphany for the Integral Bread sound as Nacho returned to the studio to develop his unique approach. 

Founding the Univack imprint added yet another string to his bow, as have releases on such luminary imprints as Indigo and Lowbit. And thus it is now with great pleasure that FutureForm is delighted to announce Integral Bread's debut on the label with his "Moonscape" EP. 

Opening with the aptly named title track, "Moonscape" oozes percussive textures that crisply play across the stereo soundstage accompanied by a deep, dark bass groove that stretches into the depths of space. A dazzling plucked motif forms an immense melodic backbone that grows effortlessly in the mid section to form a lunar assault in the final third. 

"Implosion" provides a steadier progressive house flow with its rhythmic offbeat plucks and house beats providing metronomic regularity. Developing apace, filtered arpeggios rise and fall in gated glory to create a glorious cacophony of sound that provides a sense of kismet that is elegantly linked to its catastrophic title. 

The final part of the atmospheric triptych sees "Teoria De Cuerdas" present a melange of vocal cuts and laconic phrases that combine to add a subtle layer of flavour and depth. Clever use of extreme tape delays create textured spot effects as a carefully placed array of plucked notes generate a dark emotive sound that weaves a path of enlightenment through its 'string theory'. Founded in his "Moonscape" trilogy, the proof of Integral Bread's production skill is firmly evident in his lunar adventures through space and sound.

German producer Oovation rejoins Univack, and this time paired with vocalist Laura Barrick. Devotion EP will surely make some noise this summer with remixes by the talented and versatile Ryan Davis, Talul, and Boss Axis. 100% German presence in this solid package...probably the most exciting EP from Univack this year.
 
Oovation and Laura have created a stunning original with their colaboration in ìDevotion.î It is driven by a powerful low-end, flowing riffs and tonal variations. The track is a back and forth buildup of rich productions and seductive vocals. A full track where all sounds make an actual dialogue. Oovationís technical resources andthe clarity of the vocals redefines the melodic tech-house concept.

Ryan Davis, (Bedrock / Traum / Areal ) puts his magic fingers to the test, and creates an evocative track anchored by modulated vocals and a really inspired chord progression. 6 minutes of pure progressive/hypnotic techno imprint. His flawless "Re-Visit" reaches an urgent throb that only few producers can achieve. A world class, top artist.

World class artist Talul (Parquet / Steyoyoke) has created a meticulously arranged remix with a mature and relaxed approach. A strong vocal presence that plays intuitively against the relaxed sonic back drop of Talulís production. Deep music sequencing, intelligently introducing a club spirit for refined listening.

Boss Axis (Parquet / Wasabi) has made the most easily translatable to dance floor remix. The remix of these Germans, clearly growing up since 2014, it is clearly focused to make dance. A remix guided by a powerful bass line, dotted with riffs and a huge breakdown. Saturday night, here we go!

From Germany to Montreal, a cross-continental dialogue takes form as Oovation and Jares unite for The Shift, a sweeping coalition of emotion and rhythm marking both artists' debut on W. Anchored in cinematic depth and driven by kinetic pulse, The Shift stands as a powerful first statement, further expanded through stunning reinterpretations by Coeus, ACNØR, and Turker.

The original take of "The Shift" finds Oovation & Jares constructing a restrained groove before thumping kicks and meandering blips send us off on a highly narcotic affair. With the foundations in place, a swaying bassline takes control of the piece, infusing it with an irresistible sense of movement. As we venture deeper inside the rabbit hole, a lush arpeggio rummages across the piece, taking us closer to an airy break where echoes osurrender to a new directive.

For the first reimagining, Coeus drives "The Shift" into more dangerous, sensual territory. Built on a thunderous rhythmic foundation, the Serbian producer laces the mix with ghostly vocal traces and a relentless synthetic tension. The result feels cinematic in scope: an after-hours odyssey pulsing with urgency and redemption, where desire and danger move in lockstep.

Next, ACNØR transforms The Shift into a perpetual motion device where tension breathes and recedes like a living organism, shimmering under dim light. Reflective and transportive, this version feels like moving through mirrored corridors. Each twist refracts a new emotion, a new identity, culminating in a tantalizing entropy.

Finally, Turker closes the circle with a radiant reconstruction that leans toward transcendence. Textured percussion, raspy stabs, and a gleaming lead line spiral upward, pushing "The Shift" toward a horizon bathed in gold as vocal phrases drift in and out of focus, painting the mirage in full technicolor for a finale that feels both cathartic and luminous.

Oovation, Jares - The Shift | W Berlin

Hot on the heels of the debut Oovation release on Flow Vinyl, the ‘Falter’ EP (FV071), comes another slice of intoxicating dancefloor action from Pierre Bonaventura. The ‘Sohn’ EP once again sees him collaborate with singer Amber Long, and it’s arguably even more dramatic than ‘Falter’. A mesmerising, brooding masterpiece, perfectly complemented by Long’s spoken word vocals, ‘Sohn’ builds from a minimal opening into a cinematic climax, which sparkles with energy and more than a hint of spookiness. Turn the lights down low for this one. A supreme set of remixes enhance the original with Jonas Saalbach from Berlin pushing the subtle undercurrents of ‘Sohn’ to the forefront to create a groove-heavy deep techno track. With its punchy bassline and deep spacey effects, this one is perfect for those late night into early morning moments. By way of contrast, Dousk adds a touch of breakbeat and heads into dark funk territory. The Greek producer, who last worked with Flow on a remix of Fault Finder’ by I Hate You in 2015, is in fine form again with his trippier reworking, and there’s something about the dirty funk and subtle twists of the Dousk sound that really gets under your skin.
