He's been an avid record collector for the most part of his life and as an eraly 90's raver and Dj he grew up with electronic music and was part of pathing the way to what electronic nightlife in Zurich resembles. No stranger to the booths of clubs or festivals like "Dachkantine" or "Nation of Gondawana", there is no doubt to the fact, that he knows what he's doing. Beeing employed in a recordstore for several years, led to a huge recordcollection, of which he picked a few favorites for us and recorded an absolute masterclass of a Guestmix. Lucky us! Born and raised in Berlin it's FOOOL returning to Sevensol's KANN label with his second EP, Forum - the follow up of Shoplifter 2000, which was released in 2019 and just like Forum combined several musical styles and influences. Shortly before the release of FOOOL's second masterstroke, the artist sat down with Torture the Artist to speak about his Berlin youth, his early musical influences and other, not only, teenage memories. Additionally the artist, an exceptionally gifted guitarist, speaks about the recurring topics on his EPs, how he got involved with KANN and ultimately mixed and compiled the latest edition of the art:cast series.

What started as a temporary escape, soon transformed into something more special, more restorative, than any of us could imagine. These weekend getaways act as a time to let go of life’s stressors and to embrace nature's peace while dancing the night away amongst some of the best company anyone could ask for. Today’s mix is a snapshot from one of our latest outings to Vermont, where our dear Sabrout took the helm and delivered a set that left everyone grinning with joy the next morning and an afterglow for days.
