After releasing their first album, L’incandescent, Opale is finally back after five years and presents a four-track new EP, Éternelle Nostalgie, out on Contemplative Recordings. 

Éternelle Nostalgie embodies the promise of Opale’s rebirth and offers a musical and aesthetic universe both original and astonishing. With their new EP, Opale combines with its original creativity, a renewed sensitivity. Once again, they choose the path of intensity by transposing a deep, powerful and delicate energy to their world.

Embarking on a new adventure, Opale has founded its own record label Contemplative Recordings with their friend Barbara, by which they favor freedom and independence. For this project, they unite with Faye and Gina for visual design, as well as with Valentin Gillet who directed Opale’s forthcoming music video, bringing to life, a powerful and undeniably addictive revival.

Maison Sensation

Éternelle Nostalgie unveils an infinite universe, of all sorts of possibilities, where sound and visual contemplation are one. Such as an invitation to travel, the EP offers a sensory exploration of music and imaginary spaces. The ‘‘Eternal Nostalgia’’ feeds itself with existence and repetition, distorts exceptions and automatisms, and embodies the burning desire to match sounds and forms.

The four-track piece evokes a love elsewhere as a love for elsewhere, an eternal return whose bold quest for immensity pushes limitless boundaries. Each track creates a space that welcomes singular atmospheres and intimate melodies and harmonizes sentimental compositions with narratives of landscapes.
