We are glad to welcome Marius Drescher back. And ever since none of his skills to create outstanding progressive house decreased quite the opposite is actually the case. 'Nova' is an unstoppable beat with a chunky bassline almost sounding rusty. This in combination with the arpeggios is just explosive. But there is also 'Not Even Close', which freshens it up a little with vocals and lots of movement in the mix.

Fleshed out with big room-ready muscle and sustained tension throughout, the title-track and lead single 'Waiting' is a slice of catchy, dreampop-infused EBM bound to satisfy both the raver and escapist in you. Featuring their own vocals on a track for the first time, this one fuses everything you'd expect from a quality dance floor roller: high impact and elevation laced into an epic narrative. 'Je Danse' extrapolates the darker facet of Lunar Plane's musical genius, enhanced by the mystique-imbued vocals that contribute to a deeper, powerfully hypnotic experience. Sezer Uysal adds an eerie mystery and a seriously thunderous punch to this ghoulish hybrid of a track. Zombie workout mode activated. Nothin’ But Chi is everything that makes the Australian sibling duo so great. Slick, stripped back and packed with warm bass vibes, this hypnotic tech-house groover is essential for the hot and sweaty Aussie summer season.

Without even being released to the public, the tune has been wildly successful for Thankyou City, taking out the Budweiser Made For Music People’s Choice Award at the Australian Independent Music Awards, one of Australia’s most respected music industry events.

Since the big win, the boys have featured the title track on an official Budweiser podcast on Deezer, alongside being featured by Vice’s Thump electronic music blog, the respected AU Underground Podcast and many more. They have also dropped successful EPs on D-Nox’s Sprout and Australia’s own Subsonic Music.

London innovator Inxec is up on remix duties, with a deep, evolving rework with just the right amount of acid for good measure. Perfect for club and festival alike, its darker vibe is a perfect contrast to the A-side.

Finally, the release closes out Lovely Sunday, another stunning original from Thankyou City.

Open Records is a techno, house and electronica imprint based out of the sunny state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in the lush tropical paradise of Cairns in 2007 and now managed out of the bustling metropolis of Brisbane, Open has grown into a respected and prolific label with more than 70 releases from artists in all corners of the globe.
