"Somewhere around 1999/2000, DJ Sneak and I arrived in Ibiza, but our luggage, including our vinyl crates did not. We spent the next 36 hours driving back and forth from the Saint Eulalia area checking for our vinyl after every flight with our airline. This was pre-cell phone era, so communication was sparse at best. After at least 6-8 trips back and forth, they arrived on the last flight possible to have records for our gig. “I was recently asked to soundtrack between a live act at a venue that I’ve not played before on the island (El Silencio) I was a little unsure about how to approach it as I wanted to keep some energy for the dinners but didn’t want to be too obviously DJ like ahead of the band (who actually turned out to be one dude with a guitar and a vocalist singing in a Flamenco style)  I think it turned out really well.
