On May 28th, 2017 we lost one of the most revered & innovative Artists in the Electronic music field. With a career spanning over 25 years Marcus Kaye AKA “Marcus Intalex” ( https://soundcloud.com/marcusintalex )helped shape and redefine Drum & Bass Music in the early 2000’s and later on making outstanding contributions to the House & Techno scene under his “Trevino” alias, his musical achievements are without parallel and on this show, https://soundcloud.com/dext-recordings label boss James Haze will be paying tribute to his music.
The show will be split into 2 halfs, part 1 dedicated to Marcus’s work as Trevino and part 2 will focus on his Drum & Bass work alongside lifelong calibrator artists such as “ST Files” , “Calibre” & “Klute”.

For this mix I intended to pit some of the labels’ (perhaps) lesser played tracks against each other. But in the end it became impossible to ignore a few rinsed anthems, so in they went.

Our eigth guest is DJ Monatomic(aka Liam Brown) from Lincoln in the UK whose mix features wall to wall bangers from the golden era featuring Seba & Lotek, Fokus, Source Direct, Alex Reece, Q-Project, DJ Crystl, Adam F, Photek, PFM, Free4orm and Electric Blue.

Liam played at the legendary Vibealite and Pleasuredome nights and was also the resident DJ at Undertone - Lincoln's longest running Underground Music night and is currently a resident DJ spinning on Only Old Skool Radio.
