Joshua Malachi Henry, commonly known by his stage name Triton-Sama. Born February 15, 1991, Joshua, is an American percussionist DJ and music producer. The name Triton comes from the son of the ocean god (Poseidon) and the Japanese suffix acknowledges his love for the culture it comes from and is given to a person of higher rankings. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, he began his entertainment career at the age of 9 when he began participating in his schools keyboard percussion ensemble. After injury to his knees from playing football in middle school, he returned to his love of music and found himself in the marching band as a percussionist. He also continued his percussionist career in high school where he met the comrades that now call themselves Team SlipStream (build from the love of Japanese cars) which he is also a part of. Soon after graduating high school, Joshua followed another passion, which are cars, and moved to Utah to take Toyota classes.
