Thanos Hana's DJ set and hardware-based live set are made for dark spaces and will spark off an immediate response from the floor.

If you embody an attitude to music fully, you carry a spirit forward, not trends. Mareena's deep connection with electronic music began in her early teenage years in East Germany, where she experienced the quaking rise of techno. Growing up amidst youth club culture and underground parties in abandoned buildings, she was shaped by the no-nonsense, freedom-oriented spirit of the post-communist era. But it was when she moved to Berlin in 2004, that she started DJing, and the city and its vigorous nightlife contributed immensely to her understanding as an artist. Musically spoken, her roots branch deep into the spirit and sound of dub techno and pre and early 2000s techno productions. Adding to this foundation, Mareena has developed a statement sound characterised by rhythmic, lively, and non-linear beats that create an unrelenting flow of energy on the dance floor.

On stage she explores the depths of minimal wave, synth punk, electro, and EBM, weaving them into an evocative sonic journey.

Her debut EP "Echoes In My Room" is showcasing her growth as a producer and her commitment to creating introspective electronic music. In a recent article by Post-Punk.com, her debut single is described as a "fevered sound collage of rhythm and reverberation," capturing the lingering sensations of a night out. Camy Huot explains that the track reflects the experience of returning home with sounds still resonating, serving as "an ode to the mistakes we made at night." The full EP is slated for release in Spring 2025 under Wave Tension Records.

supafrisch, based in Bielefeld, Germany, places his focus on lesser known strands of techno and UK-influenced club music. His sets often explore the space between straight four to the floor, broken rhythms and low-end-heavy bass music.
His ability to capture the mood in the room allows him to tastefully play crowd-pleasers when necessary and thus set the stage for tracks that challenge expectations without losing the thread of movement on the dancefloor.

Outside the booth, he's actively involved with not exist e.V., a local non-profit dedicated to supporting emerging DJs, producers, and artists in Bielefeld’s more niche electronic music scene. Through workshops, events, and open platforms, they help create spaces where experimentation and community can grow side by side.

Be it a b2b with somebody whose worlds have the potential to colour each other, or a wholly-focused action in which the invited can take the reins, the Rotterdam-based DJ/Producer creates a space for musical exploration with whoever he feels creatively aligned with in that particular moment. 

Although these two hours largely remain grounded in electronic music, expect the occasional endeavour into music’s outer realms.
