Professional, versatile and experienced Five piece Band with female singer, performing their own original material as well as rock/blues covers. Based in Okehampton and available for gigs all over Devon and Cornwall.

The History!!
Back in 2009, Scott from Revolvin Door got together with Tom and Steve in Steve's garage to do a bit of regular jamming, doing the sort of stuff they wanted to hear. Later came Mark, also from Revolvin Door and then Pam from Bude joined them after seeing their ad on the internet! After a brief time for Steve and Pam with another band that disbanded before really getting off the ground, Pam and the guys decided to make a real go of their outfit in the summer of 2010 and got to work on their set, writing their own material.

In November, they went into the Studio to record their ep which includes 2 of their own songs. This will be posted on their page at the end of December. Then on December 11th 2010 Hatherleigh Community Centre, Beer Festival (see blog) was the platform for their debut performance.

2011 looks like it's going to be a good year for Ophelia as they set about doing gigs in the local area.

Latest News: "Ophelia" will be taking part in the 2011 Battle of The Bands which takes place at The Bridge on Wool, Wadebridge and commences at the end of January. Up to date information can be found on website: www.alivemusicstudios.com

"Ophelia" have their own p.a and lights. Currently taking 2011 bookings for pubs; parties;private functions and corporate events.
