Nycteris and the Lamp

Embark on a journey into the solitary world of "Nycteris and the Lamp," a haunting melody that whispers of a young maiden's lonely existence within the confines of a castle tower. Born into darkness, her only companion is the gentle glow of a solitary lamp, casting shadows upon walls untouched by the sun or moon. 

Through ethereal choirs and cascading synthesizers, the song envelops listeners in the eerie tranquility of her secluded life.

"Nycteris and the Lamp" is a testament to the power of music to evoke emotion and transport listeners to realms unknown.

"Encounter" is a soft-feathered piece featuring the liquid sounds of piano notes and clusters of choirs and strings soaring into the heart and mind. It recreates sonically the encouter of PHotogen and Nuycteris as they lean against each other in the valley twilight, sttempting to escape from Watho, the white witch.

Diese Komposition schreibt das Thema "Pulse Of Steel" fort, welches sehr rhythmusbetonte, kraftvolle Elektronikmusik darstellt, die zum Teil Techno-Passagen enthält oder Ausflüge ins Progressive unternimmt. Part V enthält in den abschließenden Schlagzeugpassagen sowie in der sich auf- und abwärtsbewegenden Melodie eine bewusste Anleihe an das ursprüngliche erste Stück, welches auch schon auf dem Album "Neverending" erschien, wo es die Vertonung eines Bildmotives darstellt. Part V ist Teil des gerade erschienenen neuen Albums "Dancing Pulse", welches die Themen "Dancing Spirits" und "Pulse Of Steel" vereint. Ihr findet es auf Spotify und Bandcamp.

This composition continues the theme "Pulse Of Steel", which is very rhythmic, powerful electronic music, some of which contains techno passages or ventures into progressive. Part V contains, in the final drum passages and in the up and down moving melody, a conscious borrowing from the original first piece, which also appeared on the album "Neverending", where it sets an image motif to music. Part V is part of the newly released new album "Dancing Pulse", which combines the themes "Dancing Spirits" and "Pulse Of Steel". You can find it on Spotify and Bandcamp.

"Zoic"

"Zoic" immerses listeners in a tapestry of richly textured soundscapes that evoke primordial landscapes. Morphing sound clusters intertwine in a continuous flow, adorned with haunting echoes reminiscent of distant whale songs or the primal calls of prehistoric creatures. 

Amidst this auditory tapestry, hints of avian chirps and the rustle of unseen fauna evoke a vibrant ecosystem teeming with life. Synthesizer pads and bass lines sculpt the passage of time itself, evoking the essence of a bygone era in the enigmatic world of "zoic."

"Explorations" consists of a series of moments where several clusters of sounds interact in various spontaneous ways. The resulting tapestry of textures and timbres shifts in tone and pitch, thus creating a vibrant soundscape where the imagination can build its own worlds. 

Guitar arpeggios, synthesizer effects, choirs, percussions, and richly textured pads combine to create a soundscape that conspires to excite the mind and engage the heart.

"Desert Twilight" unfolds with a haunting yet delicate soundscape, blending surreal ambiences and subtly shifting atmospheres. A melancholy violin melody plays through eerily suggestive musical motifs, while a woman's evocative song and altered piano chords add depth. The sound of desert wind blowing enhances the track's introspective, otherworldly feel.

The Deception of the Thrush - Valhjim w/Martin Miers

"Zooming Out Ends" tells the story of an extraordinary machine capable of zooming out infinitely.
Throughout this journey, the observer traverses multiple universes, each seeming to be an iteration of the previous one, creating a sensation of large-scale redundancy. This repetition of structures and patterns across different scales gives the impression of an infinite continuum.
However, against all expectations, the zoom comes to an end in a final universe and challenges our perceptions of infinity and the limits of reality.

Genocide, June 2025:
Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
