To mark the memorial of the passing of Ian Curtis, I-Robots & Opilec Music are excited to present a very special single release. Inspired by the early work of Joy Division, New Order and Ian himself, a set of artists who were in turn inspired also by the Italo wave directly and created a generation of music that sent shockwaves through global music.

Releasing on the anniversary of Ian Curtis's passing, May the 18th. Opilec Music present the special I-Robots Reconstruction of -COBALTO+ - Atmosphere Ft. Lilith. Having worked previously reworking some remakes like Blue Monday, Dirty Talk and Lucky Star, I-Robots rework was heavily influenced by the works of those music greats and the sound from New Order to Kraftwerk - completing the circle of musical inspiration that knows no borders. This release celebrates an era of sound that blurs the sounds between post-punk, Italo, Pop and other Electronic sounds.

-COBALTO+ themselves are an Italian band best known for working recently with Tim Palmer, their “Atmosphere” track is a remake of Joy Division’s 1980 classic - featuring "Lilith" the ex singer of “Not Moving” an early 80’s kult Italian rock band: their remake first appeared on their -COBALTO+ 2018 LP "Citus Mutus" and we revisit this with our new I-Robots Reconstruction. A taste of what is to come as it is part of a forthcoming EP that will also include Luca Vera and Riggel remixes.

"Opilec" (1917) is a story by Josef Čapek, a writer and cubist painter, brother of Karel Čapek, the man who is supposed to invent the term "robot" that originally meant "servant". From this important etymology, that truly inspired all Isaac Asimov literature, comes Opilec Music by Gianluca "I-Robots" Pandullo's fervent mind.

Opilec Music is a label project deeply built on all Asimov way of thinking about how technology is not an enemy of human genre but a help and a real and useful extension of our mind. The robot is our friend and the music too. Opilec Music feels contaminated by old school Disco, Chicago House & Detroit Techno, the early 80's Italo & Synth, Electro & Cosmic Disco and by the seminal Krautrock & Electronic musical genres that differently as strongly have conditioned the history and world dance conception.

Dj Bio:

Ezequiel Calabro comienza a tocar en el año 2000 en el ciclo Fila Sessions en Met Bar (Arcos de Palermo) junto a Dj Phonse y con el soporte de Fila Argentina, continúa con presentaciones en fiestas privadas hasta que  hace su primera aparición en las transmisiones de Buenos Aliens en el año 2004. En la temporada de invierno se traslada al centro de Sky Bariloche donde se presenta en los clubs Mute Catedral, Cerebro, Rocket, By pass y la 1er Patagonika Electronic Sounds Swimming Pool Rave (Cerro Otto, Bariloche)
Corría el año 2005 y desde Bariloche envía un demo para el Heineken thirst Contest donde obtiene el 2do puesto a nivel nacional y la Oportunidad de tocar junto a Dj Tiesto (NL) en la final en La Morocha Club Bs. As. A partir de este evento comienza una carrera mas intensa, participando de grandes fiestas como Magic tocando junto a Javier Bussola y Sterling Moss (UK) en el main floor, y luego obtiene la residencia en Lado B de las Magic en Niceto Club. 
Es Invitado al programa de radio X4 Datafull Night en varias ocasiones tocando Live en Vinilo y en una de ellas realiza un set en vivo con Anthony Pappa (AUS). En el verano de  2006, Ezedub es productor de las fiestas Moovin en Puerto Madryn, siendo este, el  primer ciclo de Musica electrónica de esa ciudad donde comparte cabina con Miguel Silver, Franco Cinelli y Nico Purman entre otros. En ese mismo año es convocado por Jorge Savoreti (George S) para tocar en sus fiestas de la Ciudad de Rosario.
Continúa en el año 2006 participando es fiestas Masivas como Big One (Palacio Alsina), Music&Arts Festival en Museum Club, y Family Dance festival en Punta Carrasco,
En 2022 Ezedub hace temporada de verano en Punta del este junto a Dj Phonse tocando en Muelle 3 Sunsets, Syrah y Ludmila, mientras realizaba su residencia en Capi Bar de esa misma ciudad. En 2023 participa de la fiesta Underbeat en Carnal Rooftop B.A.

Su estilo musical se define por mezclas originales que juegan con variados estilos de House Music, pasando por el Deep, minimal, techno y grooves experimentales,  explorando diferentes texturas sonoras.

Originally from Bracknell now Swindon Based.  I 
Write compose and play all my Tracks at Home using only Keyboards. Love all types of Music as long as it makes the hairs on my neck stand up. 
I record using  Logic pro and all or Arturia software and effects , Recently added  Omnisphere 2.8 software suite,  Spitfire Albion 1 and BBC Orchestra,Kontakt suite. Love to compose sound tracks and  if anyone wants to work on collaborations on tracks - projects my time is free please message me .
