DJ MAFS is no new comer to the scene, with him pumping out numerous mixes over the years, that really take the listener on a journey with the selections involved. So, here is my Rupture Brighton promo mix that I recorded a couple of days before the gig, which was held at the best club in Brighton, THE VOLKS on the 24th February 2023!
I warmed up the main room with a 12" selection of deep, sexy, nawty, bass driven drum and bass with a hell of a lot of soul and realness! ❤

Vinnie Smith aka Opius started learning music production in the mid 90's with a pal who had a home set up, Vin set himself up in 2001 buying some hardware including an Emu sampler, Korg Triton keyboard, Tannoy monitors a pc built for music production a Spirit desk and some other rack units. By 2004 He was working with and producing records with several labels which went on for a couple of years then after some years away with a live band Vinnie started again in 2014, he started Ballpark Recordings in 2017 and now works with labels Pinecone Moonshine, 36 Hertz, Omni Music, Subtle Audio, Time Tunnel Recordings and others, his sound is breakbeat orientated Drum & Bass/Jungle and Drumfunk.
